Activism against the Turcot project

A timely reminder from Jody Negley over at the WestmountWatch blog that the groups lobbying against the health and socio-economic repercussions arising from the Turcot reconstruction project are feeling pretty burned out and need support.

To this end, there is an opportunity to get involved by attending the upcoming information session by the MTQ to be held Monday January 31st at 7pm at the CRCS St-Zotique 75, Sir-George-Étienne-Cartier. It’s also worth checking out http://www.mobilisation-turcot.info/en/index.html and http://turcot.ca. As Jody states:

Actions peak louder than words; to stand back and do nothing is to allow a monumental and irrevocable blight upon our neighborhoods.
